During the factory tour, you get to tour a warehouse with large wooden barrels and learn how fish sauce is made over the years after fermentation. Some of the factories that allow you to tour are –Khai Hoan Fish Sauce Factory, Hung Thanh and Phuong Hung Fish Sauce Factory .
Phu Quoc produces one of the best varieties of black pepper in the world. There are many pepper farms all over the island and visitors can easily visit any pepper farm in Phu Quoc. Just step in and explore the farm. There are many farms in Ganh Dau village, Cua Can village, and Thom village.

5.11 Ho Quoc Pagoda
Ho Quoc Pagoda, also known as Truc Lam Ho Quoc, is the largest and most beautiful temple on Phu Quoc Island. Upon entering the temple, you will be greeted by a giant staircase with dragons on either side of the stairs. In between the two sets of stairs, on the sloping surface are dragons and other beautiful symbols carved in gold. What is more special is that inside the temple there is a beautiful golden Buddha statue.
Its original name is Coconut Tree Prison and it is located in An Thoi village. You can visit a lot of very educational exhibits about the Vietnam War. Some tools of torture are still present in the prison.
6. What to eat in Phu Quoc
6.1 Nemo. Restaurant
The interior of the restaurant is not so special, but the food is delicious! It is located in Duong To. It was delicious and the service was great. Best of all, it’s not too expensive (like most local Vietnamese restaurants).
6.2 Sushi love
The name tells everything. If you are a sushi fan you will love this place. Their menu has a wide variety of sushi and has some great creations, all very fresh! The price is not too expensive either. For $50 for a 3-person portion. For sushi, it’s pretty reasonably priced. As for you, how do you see the price?
If you are looking for a restaurant with a little more space, then try Bamboo Bistro. The location is great, the food here is good (with Vietnamese, Western, and full vegetarian dishes), and good cocktails.
6.4 Floating restaurant
The fishing village, also known as the floating restaurant, is located on the east coast of Phu Quoc, with a pier with many floating restaurants serving seafood. If you like seafood it is a pleasant experience.
6.5 Dining on the beach
There are restaurants on the beach or on some of the slightly more touristy beaches where you can have dinner while watching the beautiful sunset. And, of course it’s more fun when you have dinner with your lover on the beach.
